Minutes of meeting 20th January 2000
Council Chambers, Knighton
Meeting open 7.30pm.

Before proceedings commenced: Respect given in view of the death of Cllr Percy Branford. Chairman asked for 2 minutes silence. Condolences were conveyed to his widow and family.
Points on Constitution. (Fur
Cllr Ken Harris suggested we contact PowysCC to request that Cllr Harris attend
the Town Forum meetings as an observer in a non-voting capacity.
Copies of the completed constitution were distributed and read. Constitution was then formally adopted, dated and signed.
Election of Officers.
Nominations were recieved and the following committee members voted in:
Chairman: Roger Bright
Vice Chairman: Janet Oram
Secretary: Angus Gilmour
Treasurer: Kevin Kell (In his absence/since confirmed)
Next meeting set for 17th February 2000 when a full committee will consider a future plan of action. Venue to be confirmed upon agreement from Knighton Town Council.
